...and let's just say it's about time. desparately need to move on with my life and to close this chapter soon, never to be revisited.

Sorry children, I haven't had the time for any Blogging in the past two weeks...I'm very, very busy.
but briefly, I have been packing up my belongings getting ready to move. the house is sold and closing is on the 27th. Most of my time is spent up at Mountain Lake Bio Station cooking for the students and researchers, the rest of the time I am looking for a place to move into and packing.
Til later and things get back to an even normal.

Ahh...Err...Umm...NO, Not Really!
The Only reason I watched the Superbowl at all is for the commercials.
Sometimes for the nudity! I used to watch it for the parties...but it
was never about the football. I'm by all means not a great fan of the
game let alone of these two teams playing...bottom line is I could care
less who wins today just as long as it is not New England!
Title says it all. My personal life, professional life is all scrambled up at the moment...nothing too bad mind you, just an overwhelming degree of chaos.
I hope to be able to write a little every day and sort of kick start this thing again.
Ok kiddies! This is just a roll call. I haven't posted squat in months and still I get at least thirty hits a week...so who out there peeks in to see if anything is new?
Tomorrow is Veteran's Day. A day to honor the memories and achievements of America's service men and women, Living or fallen.
I am a veteran of the US Army...I am a Disabled veteran of the US Army...So why do I have to go to work?
One of the many setbacks with the food service industry...No holidays or very few!
So if you have the day off on veteran's day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, Easter, ETC. just remember when you don't feel like cooking and decide to go out for a bite...that the people serving you and cooking for you don't get holidays off. Maybe a little "thank you" would be appreciated.
So it's like this...I've spent the past few months remodeling this house so we could flip it.I ended up getting married in the process and well we want to sell this house so we can buy land nearby and build our own home.
